A curated space for Black & Brown Women (21+)
Spring is the season of renewal, and we’re celebrating by honoring the creativity and resourcefulness of Black and Brown women. Join WildFiya and Thread the Culture at the Richmond Museum of History and Culture for an intentional afternoon of soulful DIY and sisterhood.
This isn’t your average workshop—it’s a textile jam session. Guided by local Richmond/El Cerrito visual artist Kimberly Antoinette (Thread the Culture), we’ll turn "old" into "bold" by transforming reclaimed materials into custom patches and statement jewelry.
More Than Just Crafting While your hands are busy, WyldFiya will keep the energy flowing with curated games and deep-dive conversation prompts designed to spark laughter and authentic connection. We’re not just mending clothes; we’re weaving new community bonds.
What to Expect:
The DIY Bar: We provide a full spread of fabrics, patches, and jewelry findings.
The Vibe: A high-energy, soulful sanctuary to rest, play, and create.
